Corazon del Guerrero Tapete
Our rugs are made from 100% naturally dyed wool, and made by hand on a vintage wooden loom by our Zapoteca artisan family. Each rug is hand dyed using native plants and insects and created utilizing traditional techniques of handwork and loom use. Each rug (depending on size and design) can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 4 months to make. Each rug is one-of-a-kind.
Rooted in tradition, this rug depicts symbols of the Zapotec people. Pyramids, Mountains, and stars with the four cardinal points (red diamonds) as a focal point.
