Our rugs are made from 100% naturally dyed wool, and is made by hand on a vintage wooden loom. Each rug is hand dyed and designed utilizing traditional techniques. Each rug (depending on size) can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 4 months to make. Each rug is one-of-a-kind.
Rooted in tradition this rug depicts symbols of the Zapotec people. The Zapotec Diamond with the four cardinal points, with a butterfly are the central focus. While pyramids, shooting stars, and mountains of Mitla create a border.
