Our rugs are made from 100% naturally dyed wool, and made by hand on a vintage wooden loom by our Zapoteca artisan family. Each rug is hand dyed using native plants and insects and created utilizing traditional techniques of handwork and loom use. Each rug (depending on size) can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 4 months to make. Each rug is one-of-a-kind.
Rooted in Zapoteca history this rug showcases Zapotec Diamond, butterflies, four cardinal points, stripes to represent happiness and mountains and pine trees.
