If this year has left you needing a little moment to breathe and recalibrate, you’re not alone. If you’ve needed time to pause and perhaps don’t know how, then this message is for you.
This year we took a much needed pause to reflect on the state of the world, how we choose to show up in it, and take a moment to be with family. Thank you for the space and time to do this.
From its inception during the pandemic, Casa Ojo has always planned to create space where community members can be together to rest, heal, and restore. We believe in honoring ancestral practices, giving artists and creative people a space to thrive and be celebrated. We excited to announce that we are finally able to do that. On Saturday October 26th, we are partnering with Jess from The Slo Space for a sunset sound bath experience in San Francisco’s Mission District. Sunset Sounds is a space where you can come with your intentions, and have space to rest, pause and reflect. There will be wholesome vegan bites and beverages afterwards to fill your bellies. There will be no alcohol served at this event since we believe that being fully present is the purpose. There is limited space available for this event, so please make sure you reserve your seat now.
Additionally, we have also been busy pursuing our publishing projects and creating new designs while improving some of our favorite products. This also means that many of our current products will be permanently discontinued, and they are on sale in the shop now. We are always thinking of ways to avoid waste of materials and excessive shipping, and this is just part of that process.
We can’t wait to see you and serve you on October 26!
Here is a little information on Jess and her practice.
About Jess:
Jess (she/her) is a Yoga instructor, Sound Healing facilitator and Energy Medicine practitioner living in Oakland, CA. Wardrobe stylist by day and a facilitator, she loves sharing these modalities because it brings us into the present moment which allows us to listen and trust ourselves in the most intuitive ways.
Jess is a yoga instructor and sound healing facilitator. The importance of slowing down and being in communication with herself has changed her way of living and allowed her to build her own practice. Various forms of yoga and sound healing created the space to allow her to find her passion in sharing these modalities with the community around her. Jess has found that being able to slow down and listen to her intuition has supported her to regain trust in herself. This trust has empowered her to make changes in her life that are more connected to her inner voice and spirit. She is now able to live a healthier and balanced lifestyle.
She received her Energy Medicine certification at the Academy of Intuition Medicine and Sound Healing Certification with the SoundEmbrace Institute. Jess completed her 200 YTT with a focus on Vinyasa style yoga and is a certified Restorative yoga instructor under Judith Lasater. This fall Jess started a MA program at the California Institute of Integral Studies studying Integral Psychology for an LMFT license.
