Our rugs are made from 100% naturally dyed wool, and made by hand on a vintage wooden loom by our Zapoteca artisan family. Each rug is hand dyed using native plants and insects and created utilizing traditional techniques of handwork and loom use.
This rug took over a month to make. This design is an heirloom design that was passed down from Josefina's father to her, and she creates them in his honor.
